MySQL Workbench is an application for:

Create database schema models graphically, reverse and forward engineer between a schema and a live database. Edit tables, columns, indexes, partitioning, inserts, privileges, views, triggers and routines using Table Editor.
- SQL development (replacing MySQL Query Browser)
Create and manage connections to database servers. Execute SQL queries on database connections using built-in SQL editor.
- Database migration
Migrate from Microsoft SQL Server, Access, Sybase ASE, SQLite, PostreSQL, SQL Anywhere, earlier versions of MySQL and other RDBMS tables, objects and data to MySQL.
