Hi there, I just would like to have some comments on show cause letter event. Recently, I join a company with 6 month probation period. During the probation period I can submit my resignation letter by giving 1 month notice (as agree in the contract of employment). As go along, I feel I very not confortable with the job and working hours, and I decided to resign by submit the resignation letter and understand with the 1 month notice period. As my notice period only 10 days left, my employer give me show cause letter and stated that I need to response or otherwise they will hold my salary. I really appreciate any comment and advice on the situation, as I feel very unfair to receive the show cause letter where I have only 10 days serving the company.
